Campus Task Force

The campus task force is the primary vehicle for prevention on campus and should include representatives from a broad spectrum of campus stakeholders and constituencies, including the president, top administrative officials, faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni.

Usually headed by a coordinator of campus alcohol and other drug prevention efforts, the campus task force works to maintain AOD prevention as a priority on campusí agenda and to create a climate conducive to environmental change. The task force undertakes strategic planning, one of the key processes for engaging the environmental management model, and oversees all prevention efforts on the campus level.
